In the second game, the Dodgers benefited from a depleted A's line-up, bettering the A's 14-4 in 4 innings. The Dodgers return to action Tuesday afternoon with a 4:30 game against the Giants. The Giants won their first meeting with the Dodgers 4-2 behind stellar pitching from Mark Odegard and Jason Mair. A loss to the Giants would leave the Dodgers with a lot of ground to make up against the league leading Cubs who have not lost since dropping the season opener to the Dodgers
